Davis Swim Shop: Concept exploration in UX/UI Design (2018)

At a glance

This UX/UI concept has been designed for a fictional competitive swimming retailer and team outfitting service provider.

The look and feel of the brand was to be sleek, stunning, of high quality and high performance. To compliment the brand, the interface had to be ultra crisp and with the help of imagery, always moving, through use of color and what would be video content on hover.

Home page in detail

Having many content blocks throughout the home page supports Davis' promotional and seasonal products, featured collections and most importantly, our student athlete persona on the constant browse, looking to gain an edge.

With the rise of outfitting swim teams as a service, the site needed global presence in the header and footer as well as a feature on the home page and listing pages for users still browsing, educating and marketing for future considerations.

With the many points of navigation and browsing built into this page, the presence of a brands section caters well to the customers with strong brand affinity.
